Arnold is already 17 or 18 years old. He was considered for Franz Pumaren's 2008 U18 National Youth Team but DLSZ wanted him to concentrate in his Academic deficiencies that's why aside from the Youth Team they also did not allow him to play for the school in the UAAP last year.

The latest pic I posted on the "Future Big Man" thread shows a better built Van Opstal.
Incidentally, that doesn't look like Arnold at all. Lemme get that pic here again ....
On another note, talking about beanpoles, you guys should've seen former SSC-R Andrada, who is also reportedly 6'7", but is very thin. Reminded me of Romulo Mamaril. He's now playing for the Green Archers.

1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.
Rico M. was reed thin when he was a rookie player with DLSU. He added a little bit of weight but his skills development was phenomenal. I remember him as just being an offensive rebounder and put-back kind of guy then.

16 – Yutien Andrada: The 6’7 beanpole was a member of the recent championship teams of the San Sebastian Staglets in the NCAA Juniors division. With good defensive skills, he has the potential to be a threat in the shaded lane as soon as he bulks up.
