Biggest factor in Yuta Watanabe's unfulfilled expectations in suiting up for the NT after 2 years in America is the way he responds when he does not have the ball. In GW, he actively screens and rotate as the offense develops. With the Japan NT, he has yet to acclimate with the much faster and less dynamic offense that Kenji Hasegawa is running. He has Watanabe actively screen and converge into the paint to help in the rebounding.

Watanabe mainly plays SF in this tournament.
