I'd personaly like to see Senegal and Cameroon qualify for WC (along with Angola) as I think those are the teams that can do the most damage with a full strenght squad in the World Championship, I guess you could argue Nigeria depending on how many US-based players would like the suit up.

The last time Mbah A Moute played for Cameroon...actually, he never played for the senior national team, but for the junior select back then when they placed second in Senegal in the African Junior Champs with Bouli and Warmenge also on the roster.
So Mbah never been a factor for Cameroon's national-team, you cant compare him to Kirilenko who plays regularly for his Russians.
The coaching change worked for Central Africa...2-0 with Pehoua in charge.

"UCLA junior forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute tallied game-highs of 20 points, nine rebounds and six steals to lead Cameroon to a 58-52 win over Egypt in the semifinals of the FIBA Africa Championship (Afrobasket 2007) in Angola today.
"Mbah a Moute has now played four games on the Cameroon National Team, which is 5-0 in the tournament and has reached the finals of Afrobasket for the first time in its history. Cameroon had only reached the semifinals one other time in 1974, which culminated in a loss to Tunisia in the bronze medal game.
"Cameroon will face the host country Angola in the finals, which beat Cape Verde 93-60 in the other semifinal today. The two teams will square off in the finals on August 25, for the chance to win the tournament's automatic bid to the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.

okay got me on that one
Thought he missed the 2007 AFC. So he would have been a good addition to this team that just lost miserably to so called Rwanda. But the federation refused to pay his insurance from what I know.
I still think Kirilenko is more important to Russia then Mbah for Cameroon.Cameroon played very well in Athens last year without Mbah while I dont see Russia suceeding without AK47.
How is that working with the tie-breaker now? Hope Senegal looses as well...

Senegal coach realised at HT that their chances without Babacar Cisse are slim..
he is back on court..
edit: 7 minutes on the floor and three assists to his name..
problem is Tunisia is a hard nut to break.. if it stays this close they could kick Senegal completely out of the competition..
5 asists in 10 minutes..
Senegal up by 4..
with this result they will finish third and will play Nigeria as it looks like at the moment..Last edited by Picek; 08-11-2009, 08:46 PM."Heja, heja Cibosi, hrabri kao vukovi,
