Correct. Their Fine Arts dept. is also worth mentioning.

Now that you mentioned it, I think PWU's Fine Arts department will be holding an exhibit soon. I found a poster of theirs at Cubao Expo and it seems that their Graphic Design program has improved a lot.
    Keep running, big boy.

PWU has a branch in Cebu in case you didn't know. I dunno what's being offered there.

Nope... not the Indonesian team but the Malaysian team because Dato Yeoh is the reason why Ekwe didn't play. Indonesians are better sportsmen compared to Malaysians, Singaporeans, and Thais. Malaysians are arrogant after all.

how immature can you get, if we lose we dont blame the officials we blame ourselves 'cause we didn't prepare harder and tougher. I support the team, i hope we nail this one fair and square.

Coach Franz Pumaren named his final 12 before the managers’ meeting yesterday. Making the team are Fil-foreign players Kyle Nicolas Pascual and Norberto Bryan Torres and homegrown talents Ian Paul Sangalang, Ryan Roose Garcia, Jed Manguera, Jaypee Mendoza, Samuel Joseph Marata, Frank Golla Jr., Mark Joel de Guzman, Joseph Emmanuel Tolentino, Gabriel Banal and Joseph Terso.

Mark Anthony Lopez, Mark Joven Mendoza and Philip Paredes were named alternates.

I do think that sometimes we can blame the officials especially if they are doing something wrong, and guyz there are really some instances that the host country is doing a underground move for them to win the competition.

Well, well, well, what do you know, Papot Paredes ended up being an alternate, after being highly touted early on in this tournament. He really is a bit too thin to be an effective big man inside.

Maybe it had something to do with the injury he sustained early in the PBL tournament.

hehehe did malaysia beat us in the seaba champions cup? the answer NO my friend, if they're going to cheat us then let it be in the RP-MY match and we won big time there. surely we lost due to lack of preparation and knowledge of the battlefield (technicalities that our basketball godfathers failed to anticipate). How many months did batang pier prepared for that match? i'd say only for 2 weeks.

I saw the game where he ended up w/ an ankle injury, but am not aware of any, more serious injuries after that.

He really does look a bit too thin, so he would likely be a 4, or a project 3 in college. More of an outside shooting big man.

I'm pretty sure our young guns would do just fine. Their training in the U.S. and the recent stint in the PBL has strenghten them. Also, the inclusion of two phil-ams has made them stronger. I say, they will be a force to dealt with in this tournament or maybe, just maybe, they will bring the title home.

Pumaren could've benched him to prevent injury. At least he didn't get cut from the team like Maiquez and Jerome Ramos. Ramos would've been a good fit at center. Works hard, not afraid to bang inside.
