This is very confusing. This thread is about the 2nd FIBA-Asia Stankovic Cup which will held in Kuwait in October. This tournament is for Asian countries.

You are referring to the 4th FIBA Stankovic Continental Cup to be taken place in Zhejiang, China this year in July. That tournament is for countries around the world, and is held annually in China.

The championship will be played in one round league format and will witness the participation of Lebanon, Kazakhstan, Jordan, Kuwait, India and Qatar.

I think those guys you mentioned are pretty banged up from the national team. Plus, they also club commitments too, right?

the players sent also have club commitments,
i like this move, giving younger players (though some of them are 24-25) a chance to play for the NT and prove that they can contribute, then maybe some of them would be added to the NT for the next fiba asia, guys like ahmad ozeir and mohammed fa7es can make serious contributions to the team

Any possible names that have been decided on?
It would be good if they could send something like an Olympic Team (Young players with a few older players)

I agree. It seems that the only contenders in this tournament are Kazakhstan and Qatar. The latter, however, was defeated by Jordan with big margins over the past so it's unlikely they can pull off a win.
