Only conferences worth watching will be the two import conferences since that would be the great equalizer for teams such as Ginebra, TNT, Meralco, Star and co.

There will be two shows in town for the Nov to Feb period - the Ginebra vs SMB rivalry (oh yeah 50 K fans in Phil arena) and the Gilas in the home away series (1st one in Araneta on Nov ) , to each his own preference of entertainment

Have to add there is the UAAP ( final 4 etc) , that's entertaining as well.

And who knows if the ABL with a Alab vs HK rivalry can happen.

Basically there is lot's of local alternative hoops basketball to watch aside from the PBA Toyota - Crispa 2.0

No CS in the Philippine Cup, but SMB are still favorites. Ginebra is close second but it remains to be seen how far they will go without a JB as their primary scorer.

When does the season start?

I heard from the commentator of PBA Draft last sunday that the season will start on Dec.17 and on Dec.25 in Philippine Arena is Ginebra vs. Starhotshots.

I was told that the PBA only earned Php168M last season. The previous lowest revenue was during early 2000 at Php200M. During time of Chito Salud, the league was earning an average of 450 to 500 million pesos.

and SMC still wants narvasa fishy talaga lol.

if not for 3 consecutive games at philippine arena, it might be less than 168m..
