    Default 2017 African U16 Championship

    Weird format, there are two groups of four and each group plays a double round-robin with the top two advancing to the semis. Seems like they had trouble finding teams to participate. They might as well have just made one group with all eight teams.

    After three games:

    Mali 3-0
    Tunisia 2-1
    Mozambique 1-2
    Mauritius 0-3

    Egypt 3-0
    Algeria 2-1
    Madagascar 1-2
    Mauritius 0-3

    This game makes the Oceania games look normal:

    MALI win first ever title: Mali- Egypt 76-65

    The best players in the MALI team were:
    - n.4 Siriman KANOUTE ('02) - MVP, very small (1.80 aka 6-0 ?) scoring point guard;
    - n.11 Oumar BALLO ('02), very strong and tall (2.04 aka 6-9) center who plays in SPAIN;

    DO YOU KNOW SOME OTHERS PLAYERS FROM MALI TEAM?

    In THE FINAL I really liked n.15 Fousseyni TRAORE ('02), very clean player with good efficiency: KANOUTE 34min 17pts 9ass 29% from the fields; BALLO 33min 14pts 22reb 75% from the fields... but TRAORE 17min (limited by the fouls!!!!) 15pts 63% from the fields!!!!

    I've estimated his height in about 1.90-1.93 aka 6-3/6-4 but I didn't find officiale heights about him, do any of you know him?
