I think Kazzouh of Lebanon is of the same case, played for Australian youth team but I think also included in the pool of Lebanon for this years FIBA Asia cup. Josegully as compromise.....Comment

whats interesting for me is Standhardinger's citizenship, its not dual citizenship like the case of norbert torres/gabe norwood/matt wright. it is only phi citizen, meaning his status is local player ?

German sports federations are known to be generous in terms of releasing players with foreign descent to other countries. Best example would be former Bundesliga player Stephan Schrock who played for one of the German youth teams. The German football federation even gave the PFF access to their player database which will allow them to search for potential talents with Pinoy ancestry.
It's not surprising if the German basketball federation will show similar leniency.Comment
