My only problem is that Spain has too many teams .
France needs to be represented in this event , no matter what . Even if the team is the dog's meat ,they might keep tournament more enjoyable for the rest .
And god forbid if i wished for some more extra flavor as in a team from Slovenia , Croatia or even Poland .

There'll be 16 teams. That's for sure. But there's no final club list as of yet. No confirmation from EL that Spain will have 5 clubs. At latest, final list will be revealed only in the beginning of July, during next EL meeting

Indeed 5 out of 16 is way too much but at least they earned/will earn their participation, not like some Darussafaka Dogus which happened to play there because Dogus Group sponsors the league..

It was for Eurocup. Limoges couldnt participate to playoff in France League.They can't take EL wildcard I think.

So... Devil's Advocate here - Is it okay to own slaves, as long as you get punished for it once in a while, and those teenage slaves are OK with working for you?

My answer, no, it is not. You can't justify not paying your players and coach by saying "But they are willing! And they will get paid anyway by their next team after we sell them!". It is not even internship and worse than NCAA, because at least in those cases you know you won't get paid in exchange for developing yourself. In this case it goes like "We won't pay you for yet another 3 months. We know you won't be able to find another club middle of the season, so shut up and keep playing until we either pay you or we sell you at the end of the season". And, even though you say you won't pay players beforehand, it is probably against some rules of professional sports. (NCAA is considered "amateur").
