The "Pinoy Football Super Tuesday" turned out to be a disaster as all three Philippine team lost their games. Ceres-Negros FC got routed by FC Istiklol, a club whose name sounds like a meme.

And to think that Tajikistan is not supposed to be that strong, ranked only 150th in the world by FIFA while we are ranked 127th. Anyway, Ceres now has the very tough task of scoring at least five goals while keeping Istiklol scoreless in Panaad to advance.

I won't say it won't happen, but it is very unlikely, and I think Ceres will just have to settle for a win a home .

Ceres-Negros FC could only settle for a Draw in Panaad, knocking them out of the Inter-Zone Semi-Finals of the 2017 AFC Cup.

It was sort of disappointing, but Ceres has reached a level where no other Philippine Club has reached before, so that is a bit of a consolation.

From the game, Istiklol was the more confident one, with the more dangerous chances although Ceres did make a couple of good tries at the goal, too.

if they played the same way in the 1st leg, it would've been a different result in 2nd leg.. ceres might have eliminated istiklol..

Hard to say. As you advance to the AFC Cup, the opponents get tougher also. Ceres was the ASEAN Zone Champion, then now they have to face a tough Central Asian team. Football is big in Central Asia, and since they are near Europe they are very competitive also.
