  • 2017 SEABA Championship (Senior & U16 Men) | May 12 - 18



    The Southeast Asian Basketball Association or SEABA just confirmed that Philippines will be hosting the 2017 SEABA Championship, 2017 SEABA U16 Championship and 2017 SEABA Championship for Women this April and May 2017.

    The 2017 SEABA Championship and the 2017 SEABA U16 Championship will be held simultaneously from April 23 to 30, 2017. The winner of the SEABA Championship will qualify for the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup while the top 2 teams from the SEABA U16 Championship will qualify for the 2017 FIBA Asia U16 Championship.

    The 2017 SEABA Championship for Women will take place from May 16-20, 2017. Official venue was not confirmed yet but it maybe Mall of Asia Arena or Smart Araneta Coliseum.

    EDIT: The men's tournament has been moved to May 12-18, 2017 while the U16 tournament will be on May 14-18, 2017.

                Good for us, since it gives our boys more time to prepare, and for the PBA to make adjustments to the schedule.

                  this year's SEABA would be the best SEABA Tournament in history.. We're sending our Seniors team not the cadets or amateurs, Indonesia will send its very best team same goes with Thailand.. Oh boy..

                      the SEABA chief is an Indonesian so walang naging problema sa pag-adjust ng scheds..
