Speaking of kiwis, I'm surprised Tab hasn't brought any on board his team. The last kiwi to play for the blue and white wasn't even on the basketball team

Patrick Maagdenberg a Fil-kiwi plays for their B team (residency) , he also recruited a full -Kiwi (2 in fact) one decliened the other accepted but dropped out, the prospect who declined I'm talking to now , hoping to convince otherwise if nothing comes up with US offers

high school is possible, college no , understand that as most commonwealth countries "collegiate sports post high school isn't really competitive. College competion NCAA is really an American influence . The rest of the world it's mostly club systems post high school that operate. That's why this whole thing no pay in college in the world of professionalism to me at some point will struggle to exist.

This is what i think of the Mayhem system https://www.facebook.com/thebuzz.nba...0690390705065/ sorry to my Ozy friends

In fairness to La Salle most UAAP teams are semi pro. I think UST is the only holdout left.

Marami kasing ayaw sa DLSU so sinisingle out nila, I don't know why hahaha!

Other teams din naman are like semi-pro, for sure some of them are offering more.

We do get who we want most of the time but this is that dance that's played in college recruitment. Remember when Ateneo got Arvin Tolentino or when NU got Bobby Ray Parks? The pricetags being rumored were insane. People like to complain when they dont get who they want and they blame the programs for not being amateur programs but amateurism is stupid. Boom Gonzales can get paid but the players cant?

Not sure about now but UE during the Tan/Chongson era definitely. UP got Bright without incentives??? highly unlikely. UP has the Bounty Fresh group while Adamson is sponsored by Akari. Only UST doesnt allow sponsorships of this sort. I think the system of UST requires that donations cannot be for one program only but must be for the entire department. At least thats how I understand it seeing UST alumni complain about their program for the longest time.

Sorry if you missed the frontline pic..
Seems unfaiir to probably have a frontline of 6' 8 and above players all playing natural postiions in the Philippines, not even pro club teams can say that
