      Thanks!

Have teams been announced yet? Is the Women's tournament taking place at the same time?

          This is exciting!
A few questions if you have answers. Will the national teams be representing all those countries? I can't imagine Gilas suiting their players up so soon. Japan, Korea and Iran?

Will USA be represented by Sacramento State instead of that sorry lot of scrubs who have come for the USA the last few years? Man, those teams were awful to watch.

Gilas Pilipinas seniors are out of the question, but it seems that they are sending a motley crew composed of foreign players to fill ceiling alongside prospects.

Current and trending Philippine sports news and commentary on basketball (NBA, PBA, UAAP, NCAA), boxing (Manny Pacquiao), football (FIFA world cup), volleyball, golf, MMA/UFC, active lifestyle (running, marathon, triathlon, cycling, biking), as well as featured stories on athletes and men’s health and wellness, style and grooming.

For Korea, it is their Team A with 13-14 players. Japan will be sending a Team B. I don't know about Iran.

BTW, this year ROC-A will be a U25 NT while ROC-B is a Universiade Team being developed for next year's Universiade basketball in Taipei.

              Ew.

Sounds like a pretty gross year. If Korea A comes, they'll mop the floor!

I don't know about that. Korea Team A has an average age of 24.7 years old with Heo Il-Young being 31 to lead them:

                Kim Sun-Hyung (Seoul SK Knights)
                Byeon Gi-Hoon (Seoul SK Knights)
                Hur Hoon (Yonsei University)
                Lee Jae-Do (Busan KT)
                Hur Hweeung (Wonju Dongbu Promy)
                Lee Seung-Hyun (Goyang Orions)
                Choi Jin-Soo (Goyang Orions)
                Heo iL-Young (Goyang Orions)
                Choi Joon-Young (Yonsei University)
                Kang Sang-Jae (Korea University)
                Kim Jong-Kyu (Changwon LG Sakers)
                Kim Junil (Samsung)
                Lee Jong-Hyun (Korea University)

But Kim Jong-Kyu and Lee Jong-Hyun have been active since 2012.

Fair enough, I guess they are young as well.

Some years the Jones cup is amazing with full squads and some years it is lacking a bit, this could be one of those years.

If Philippines bring Ravena, along with Brickman and those two imports they could actually do some damage. Reminds of the year that Ratliffe played with the Korean club and they did really well.
