Head coach Hur Jae seems like not a fan of using the combination of Lee Jong-Hyun and Kim Jong-Kyu together, which is understandable. Their shooting is spotty and will most likely use Lee Seung-Hyun, Choi Joon-Young and Choi Jin-Soo at PF.

Good first half for Egypt. They know that this Korean squad is mostly young and they took advantage by playing physical and observe space. Result is them shooting 50% FG and 3ptFG%.

Final: Egypt 74 - 73 Korea. Korea's second half comeback fell short against Egypt. Hur Jae motivated the team through his temper and some profanity like "Ji-ral Ha-ne" were heard in the locker room. One thing good about Hur Jae, is that he scolds his two sons, just like anyone else on the team.

FINAL: Iran wins 73-61 vs ROC-B. Nice win for Iran in the first day.

Wu Yongsheng's squad is getting more applause from the crowd compared to ROC-B. Sac-State is like the third home team.

Liu Cheng has been playing well for ROC-A. Aside from leading the team in scoring, he is 2nd in rebounding, 3rd in assists and leads the team in steals. He will improve further in the CBA. Chou Yi-Hsiang must prove himself as top dog in the SBL this season before he entertains any CBA thoughts. Hu Long-Mao is making himself available in the CBA draft and Cheng Ying-Chun must do the same next year.

For the first time in 8 years, I like the Taiwan team. They have some youth and are far more exciting and dynamic. It'll be a shame to see Quicny gone though.
Liu is amazing to watch, he is a proper athletic SF and I have even come around on Chou. Chou used to be such a chucker that I disliked his game but when he was quality teammates he seems to use them more and pass the ball.

Korea, represented by Shinhan Bank S-Birds, won the Women's Tournament narrowly beating Taiwan-A 64-63 in the final day. Japan with a young team (U21/22, probably) finished 2nd, while USA-team, represented by 2nd tier pros, took the 3rd place after winning over Taiwan-B at OT. Taiwan-A finished 4th, with a 3-2 record.
