Latvia clearly won over Croatia 84-62 with a good team's effort, with all players scoring.
Tomorrow's game Croatia vs Greece will decide which of the two won't advance to the main round.

Italy rolled over Ukraine and is waiting for more competitive games.

I think Croatia will win. Greece will probably only have 9 players suit up tomorrow. Lountzis is out for 1 week with an injury. Bolatoglou is out of the tournament due to an injury. And Chatzikyriakidis didn't play today due to stomach problems. Not sure if he will be available tomorrow.

Lithuania lost again, this time outgunned by Serbia 98-73 and will play its chances to qualify with Finland.
Serbia shot an excellent 50% from the field and Novak Music finished with 22 pts and an astounding 5/5 FG2 + 4/6 FG3 shooting.
Obvious doubt, how good was Serbia in attack and/or how bad Lithuania's defense.

Another unexpected victim today was Spain, that lost 76-67 to Russia.

These kids are said to be paid over 50.000 $ per year for competing for Qatar.

Greece unlucky, always lost close games in its group.

Perfect record for Italy, that started strong with Spain and never relinquished ending 71-53. U17-reinforcement Davide Moretti with 17 pts led three other players in double figures, while Victor Moreno was high for Spain with 16. Italia advances to the main round 2-0.

Lithuania also qualifies beating 83-58 Finland, with Sedekerskis topping all scorers with 26 (and 11 reb), while Gadiliauskas confirms his strength under the boards with 17.

Spain and Russia are the last qualified nations, despite Ukraine's win over Russia.

Spain will start the main round 0-2 and Russia 1-1.

Serbia beat Turkey 67-63 for the first place, holding on a strong Q4 by Turkey. Aranitovic topped all scorers with 26 pts.

Serbia will be 2-0 and Turkey 1-1.

Losing to Germany 82-68, Spain is in big troubles for the qualification and must win the next two games (tomorrow vs France).

Same situation is for Croatia, who lost to Serbia.

Group E: Lithuania trying to get back on track with important win over Latvia and Turkey showing big over Bosnia (with Yurtseven shooting 11/14 FG).

Group F: France and Italy cruising undefeated, with big wins vs Russia and Poland. All 12 Italian players scored today in the easy win over Poland.

Turkish team keep surprising me. They seem well coached. We are not used to play well at Q4, but this one is exception. Oğuzhan Yarol and Ömer Yurtseven are doing nicely as expected.

Heartbreaking final Germany-Italy 68-67. Italy fell short from a great comeback in second half (from -17), despite 29 pts from Moretti, 27 TOs from Germany and four FT missed by German players in the final seconds. Germany clearly overwhelmed Italy in rebounding and shot better (except from 3pt).

Poor shooting Latvia clearly lost to Turkey that has improved a lot.

Serbia and France are the only undefeated teams so far.

Lithuania is out. So Lithuanian youth NT teams didn't win any medals for the first time since 2003 year.

Deceiving Lithuania also lost to Bosnia and is virtually out of QF.
Amazing game of Dzanan Musa, 37 pts + 5 ast.

France stays perfect with a strong win over Italy, that came back to -3 in Q3 just to be outscored 12-26 in Q4.
As usual Italy outrebounded (24 vs 49).
