The ban on Lebanon might be lifted in the next couple of days as per sports media in Lebanon in mentioning... I just hope that this is true and before the deadline for the WABA Championship in Jordan.

FIBA lifts international ban on Lebanon
    May 07, 2014 06:43 PM
    The Daily Star
    A+ A-
BEIRUT: FIBA has lifted the suspension on the Lebanese Basketball Federation, which will now allow the national teams to compete again in FIBA competitions.

Federation president Walid Nassar received the good news in a fax from FIBA’s Secretary General Patrick Baumann Wednesday.

The end of the suspension concludes a yearlong struggle over political and judicial fallouts in Lebanon, where basketball is the most popular sport.

Unfortunately ,Lebanon will not participate at WABA 2014 as they did not complete their national league yet.

They would be a very good addition to the competition as they are as usual.

I didn't expect Iran U18 to beat any team here (probably except Yemen) but surprisingly they beat Palestine (with Sakakini and Abu-Shemala) here today !

Yousefvand is the player to watch in this team. he was a starter in previous U18 team (when he was U16)
