Philippines is grouped with Jordan . . . hello again Coach Rajko Toroman!
A victory against either Jordan or Chinese-Taipei should guarantee passage to the next round. The Philippines will have an easy time against Singapore and Uzbekistan.
The format to be used is the same as this year's World Cup, slim chance of PHL vs CHN. Only happens when both teams win their respective groups, CHN over Iran abd JPN, and PHL over JOR and TPE.
PG: Aren Davoudi, Saman Veisi
SG: Behnam Yakhchali, Younes Lalehzadeh
SF: Mohammad Jamshidi, Mohammad Reza Akbari
PF: Arsalan Kazemi, Oshin Sahakian, Arman Zangeneh
C: Hamed Haddadi, Asghar Kardoust, Rouzbeh Arghavan
No Samad Nikkah Bahrami, Hamed Afagh & Mahdi Kamrani?
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV
With China, Taiwan, Jordan not sending their "A" teams & Iran missing 3 key players for this tournament, I think it makes sense that team Pilipinas also not sending some players from last year's 2013 FIBA-Asia Championship silver-medalist roster. This tournament is a good training experience for the young Filipino cagers like Paul Lee, Kevin Alas, Junmar Fajardo & Garvo Lanete.

Well, I've read from a poster here that Jordan will miss some of its best players for this tournament. But looking at the source you've provided it seems that it will send its 2013 FIBA-Asia roster with Rasheim Wright replacing Jimmy Baxter as its naturalized player. Daghles rejoined the team in this years WABA Championship but is not listed for this tournament.
Thank you for providing this source sir.

Give us a chance.. Jay Wash would be beaten balck and blue by Kazemi..
So its officially Veisi is licensed to play 1 for your team.. (Because i think he can and he has good size for a 1)

Daghlas and Abbas are still two of the best Jordanian players..
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

It would be Aren Davoudi but he is also out because of a late knee injury, they want to replace him with youngster Sajjad Mashayekhi
apparently Veisi is the only option left for Becirovic, because Kamrani, Davoudi and Aslani are out and Mashayekhi is still inexperienced, even though we have our centers/PFs here but there are only 3 guards in this list and two of them are under 20 !
Arsalan Kazemi probably won't be available for the first 2 games of Team Melli as he is with the Philadelphia 76ers in the Orlando Summer league till the final day which is on Friday... He has been included for their roster for Tuesday's game an has been with the team for more than a week now... Showing commitment to his team and the will to make it to their roster for this season.
Chinese Taipei B looks imbalanced. 4 centers: Davis, Lin Chih-Wei, Lee Tee-Wei and Chen Quan-Chuan. With only Liu Cheng as the only SF and Lu Chi-Min being moved to SF despite him being an SG. Good thing Chou Yi-Hsiang is a versatile one, able to play PG, SG and SF.
Otis Hughley was also experimenting with a big back-court of Liu Cheng and Chou Yi-Hsiang.
