As expected, Thailand and Malaysia came up on top.

If Indonesia loses to Thailand tonight, it's all over for them.

Why didn't Indonesia suit up Mario Wuysang, Christian Sitepu and Arky Wisnu? Basketball politics?

No Guga, Shee Fai Loh and Kwaan Yoon Jing for Malaysia either.

For Indonesia, they got their players from the the champion of their domestic NBL league with a few reinforcements (Ferdinand is one of them).

        Don't know about Malaysia.

Maybe they don't want the result of the draw...kaw ba naman..

Seriously Indonesia has sent the aspac team.. Indonesia Warriors is the team where the best Indonesian players play(where we based it from talent) second is SM Britama..

Good performance by Thailand considering they didn't hit a single 3 point shot and we knew the players of this team knows how to play rugged..
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..

most of the senior players for the national team are members of the ABL Team. in which they just ended their campaign and still having a much deserved vacation. if ever indonesia makes it to the FIBA Asia, expect the lineup will change.

malaysia is fielding its next generation players. they are doing pretty well in this competition. i would expect some members of this team will join the dragons next season.probably the one's with stellar performances.

Don't get me wrong Thailand and Malaysia are sending their A teams.. As John Ng, Yeo is in the lineup and as if there is a huge difference in talent level between their players...but too bad for Indonesia the gap of talent level between Mario Wuysang and the rest of the team is so far evident with the level up of competion(in abl) his game also levels up if we compare him if his performace in their local league..

Thailand is leading the ballgame against Malaysia by 21.. if they hold on they will go on to Manila..

Thailand on its way to beat Malaysia with a score of 42-18 at halftime. So who will make it to FIBA Asia?

                            Malaysia beats Indonesia 67-64
                            Indonesia beats Thailand 89-88
                            Thailand beats Malaysia ???

Malaysia are in trouble. Down 18-42 vs Thailand so far. If Indonesia wins against Singapore today, Malaysia will fall down to 3rd place if this score keeps up.

I think Malaysia needs to keep the deficit by 5 at most if they are to keep 2nd place in the standings. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

                              Quotient before the Malaysia-Thailand game

                              Malaysia +3
                              Thailand -1
                              Indonesia -2

Well a full-forced Indonesian team deserves a spot in FIBA Asia. They should bring in their "big guns" to Manila if they do get a slot.

Thailand has definitely improved from their stint in the ABL as evident in today's game.
