The 2013 USA Basketball Men's Junior Team (H.S./College)

    -- Aaron Gordon, F, 6-foot-9 (Archbishop Mitty, Calif./Undecided)
    -- Aaron Harrison, G, 6-foot-5 (Travis, Texas/Kentucky)
    -- Andrew Harrison, G, 6-foot-5 (Travis, Texas/Kentucky)
    -- Kasey Hill, G, 6-foot-1 (Montverde Academy, Fla./Florida)
    -- Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, F, 6-foot-7 (Chester, Pa./Arizona)
    -- Demetrius Jackson, G, 6-foot-1 (Marian, Ind./Notre Dame)
    -- Jabari Parker, F, 6-foot-9 (Simeon, Ill./Duke)
    -- Bobby Portis, F, 6-foot-9 (Hall, Ark./Arkansas)
    -- Julius Randle, F, 6-foot-9 (Prestonwood Christian, Texas/Undecided)
    -- Noah Vonleh, F, 6-foot-8 (New Hampton, Mass./Indiana)

We don't have a true center, instead hybrid fours are aplenty for 2013. That said, I am looking forward to the World Select Team that could feature the likes of Andrew Wiggins of Canada.

I expect an aggressive attacking USA team that will push transition and use strong ball denial press in the wings and middle.

I would have liked to see one true C on this team since the World team typically brings some nice bigs to this game. Still, Gordon and Randle are both very strong and should be able to handle the World team's Centers, I think.

I'm still very happy that this event is able to pull the majority of the best players each year, its one of my favorite events. This team is very strong, much, much better than last year's team.

Looking forward to seeing who plays for the World Team this year.

Now I'm even more curious on what the World Select Team will feature in their bigmen. Our team is built on versatility and plenty of firepower in the wings. Same goes for the defense that is looking likely to utilize denial and paint collapse if ever the world select team will pound it inside.

BTW, some ESPN guys are hinting that the World Select Team could be one of the strongest ever if certain names commit.

US roster looks strong and talented, but is lacking a true big man.
Strangely, center Dakari Johnson wasn't selected, he's strong and playing well and has already earned some international experience.
World select team usually brings big size players and in case such standouts as Wiggins, Saric (again ?) or Hezonja play it will be favorite to repeat last year's win.

I bet Saric won't attend since he's already playing big minutes for Cibona, that could hurt his image in Croatia, specially with his team struggling. Same with guys from 93 like Cvetkovic or Karassev, maybe Marcus Eriksson could be there.
Anyway if Hezonja and Wiggins play that will be fun to watch. Diop should be a no brainer also.

I don't think there is poit for Saric to play at such events. Now he has much more iportant things to do, to develope as senior level player.

Exum, Wiggins, Hezonja would be most talented 2-3 spot in long time for international team.

From Balkans this players could get in consideration to take 1 or 2 spots

Jusuf Nurkic, Emir Sulejmanovic, Nedim Buza, Nikola Milutinov, Djoko Salic

Along with Saric Nikola Ivanovic and Vasilje Micic play big minutes for their team so I don't expect them there

I said coach why we practice so much. He said God will bless us after all this hard work. How can I argue with that !

Wang Zhelin's participation is in doubt because his team, Fujian will be competing in the China National Games.

Looks like Karl Towns and Andrew Wiggins are in for the World Team. This may be the most talent ever assembled for this event

I think we can list off Wang Zhelin due to him committed to play for Fujian in the China National Games.

On paper, perhaps the most impressive international line-up since the Summit began back in 1995. The US kids are going to have their hands full.

Atleast Team USA does not look so undersized now, but the perimeter play of this ensemble is impressive. You got Wiggins, Exum and Hezonja that are very good at isolation sequences.

I've been following Mario Hezonja since he was 16, Excited to see him play against Team USA...
