    1)PBB - needs to unload 1 or 2 superstars for a legit hustle/role players
    2)BGSM - needs to unload 1 or 2 wing/forward players for a true center
    3)SMCM - needs to have 1 wing defender/shooter and 1 PF(low post player)
Again, i doubt SMC (especially Cone) will mess with the chemistry of this team. His primary goal is to work the new guys into the rotation. Devance with all the injuries and missed time is practically a new guy in the rotation; Ramos as well being a rookie; Gonzales, especially if Intal misses major time and to an extent Barroca, who's now assuming Urbiztondo's role the latter a crucial cog in their championship run last year.
If there is no basketball in heaven, i am NOT going.

    SMALLBALL, bitches..

        Ginebra,

We already helped you last season with rico & kerby, why would we help you again?

YDO and Intal were big pieces for you, guys. They may not be as good as Rico and Kerby but Tim utilized them as they are fit to San Mi's offense. Good thing you have Tim Cone, arguably the best coach in RP. You just guys won a 'chip with YDO and Intal. Could you have won also had you retained Rico and Kerby?

No argument here, San Mig is the best among SMC teams. They have a coach who commands respect, and is respected by the players, by the management. That is why Tim has the final say in personnel. Unlike Petron and GSM it seems like Eala dictates all personnel moves.

one between maliksi and dylan should focus on playing sg while d other focuses on playing sf.

mike should be the regular back-up of la (or starter with LA coming off d bench with mark) and jj should be 3rd in the rotation ala labagala last year.

bgk will get better this conference but i think semis will already be an achievement.
i so agree...JJ actually should have stuck to his word and retired already...he's supposed to be their 11th-12th man if you look at their lineup (talentwise should be mamaril but he's their only center). rudy still hustles but that's basically the only thing he does now...no reliable shot whatsoever anymore - yes even layups, gimmes and free throws. kerby is somehow playing his way to more playing time so i'll give him that.

Our line-up is good so please don't ask for our help anymore.....it's not us who drafted two wings (with mc, ababou & maliksi in the fold) when you needed a big man....

YDO's performance in SMC made look the deal like a highway robbery for Purefoods
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..

Ginebra's system the past few years does not develop or use big men properly...kramer was not used, yancy & enrico were barely used...and now, these 3 big men are playing well for their respective teams...

And when the rico-yancy deal was consumated, i dont think you would have said that the deal favored bmeg that time....

it was by design.bgk is looking to win this season and cannot afford to draft a young, developing center. they are probably in the lookout for a veteran center with their wings as trade pieces. but more importantly, they probably feel that its the import-laden conference where they will have a stronger chance with the imports playing center.

Then they will be bringing back PG cedric bozeman as their import in the 3rd?

And wingman t-mac for the unlimited height conf?

it will depend on how they will perform this philippine cup, especially if they reach the playoffs stage and get crushed because of lack of interior size.
it will also depend on the trade opprtunities. if their current frontline proved to be a major flow at the end of the phil.cup and no center is acquired via trade, expect a center for the second conference and even in the 3rd.

tmac will fit to petron better. but his availability will depend on how his team will fare in cba.

bgk wanst an undersize team because they want to run more. but sooner or later, they will realize the need for at least one more legit center or at least an undersized center with a lot of athleticism.

                        • Last saturday the PBA had a double header and there's also a scheduled triple header, it just means the PBA is open to changes and i commend them for it. LAst season they introduced the semis marathon where teams play every other day.

The PBA is now enjoying one of its all time high in viewership in recent years (this from the news), why not capitalize on it? more games, more fun, more profit. i don't think its necessary to have a long break from sunday to wednesday, we have the internet already thats why communication is faster and better.

If you been to the facebook pages, many are pissed off that they have to wait another week for their favorite teams to play. PBA is blowing this bigtime by being contented with the 3 game days + 1 out of town game.

Increase the games and cramp them up in the existing schedule, jeeez, thats why teams have a 15-man roster, it allows for more player development as well.

                              • anyone saw snow's tweets? i can't copy them coz twitter is blocked here in the office but i remember reading some last night pertaining to a frustrated point guard (guesses were cortez, denok), a coach who only knows how to coach in 10-day leagues (toro? capacio?) and trillo repeatedly denying thoss is going to be traded.
