"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

Lebanon will participate. We will be without some of our best players such as Fadi El Khatib, Ghaleb Reda and Charles Tabet. But other than those three players, we are complete with the addition of starlet Ahmad Ibrahim.
              Proud to be Lebanese

I dont know the current strength of team Pilipinas because there is a new coach, system and pool of players.
But i do feel we will not win the championship or is even capable of winning the championship. I doubt our team will be competitive enough this early(add t that some players may miss this tournament due to injuries and rest time).
I believe experience is the supreme target of our team. And placing high in the standings or even winning the championship, if ever, would just be a bonus.
But for sure..... we will give a fight in every game.

Given the preparations we had over the past weeks, I doubt we're even capable of making third place. I don't want to sound negative but our chances are truncated due to (once again) ill-preparedness.

Ali Mahmoud is injured and will rest to recover over the summer.

Rony Fahed retired from the NT as of last year because he wasn't called up to the squad by coach Sarkis and felt he was unappreciated. I don't know if he would come out of retirement if Lebanon had another coach for the NT as he's 31 and can still play at a high level.

You have a very young and fast line up sir!! im looking at ur team as a contender but wont win the championship for now..maybe 2-3 yrs from now when chemistry and familarity not to mention maturity
gradually takes in then better watch ur back china.

c.j giles is a gifted player no doubt.minus his drama outside the court.i hope he finally matured..

                            goodluck to your team..
You know how to WIN against the Philippines? Zone them do death and watch them crumble. Been working Since 2002 and coaches until today don't have the answer for it.
