At first glance, Thaddeus Young and the Nets flex offense seem like a perfect match. Thad is great with pick and roll situations and a lot of PF's in the league get taken out of the space race when Thad gets rolling after brushing shoulder to shoulder with a guard.

After Dallas, Nets sneaked up on another western team and this time, it's the Warriors. Brook Lopez looked very healthy tonight, getting easies under the basket and hit some set shots. Deron Williams another good game.
Jarret Jack showed Curry how it feels on being the recepient of a game dagger.Last edited by CKR13; 03-03-2015, 06:41 AM.Sacramento Kings

I really felt Markel Brown was a huge steal when Brooklyn got him in the second round and now that he's finally getting consistent minutes, he's proving me right.
Career high 17 points against the Lakers the other night.

Nets now hold the eighth spot after four consecutive games won, thanks to largely in part of Brook Lopez. When Deron Williams was getting fouls on not being able to keep up with George Hill's speed, Jack went up and ran the offense smoothly.
This is probably the best game I saw for Alan Anderson and he seems to be very comfortable with the flex offense; on account of him rotating or gliding to the spaces primed for shooting. For what it's worth, Anderson has played all over Europe so adapting quickly has been one of his strong suit as a journeyman. Michigan state somewhat ran a similar offense over a decade ago when Anderson was still playing there.
In this game, Joe Johnson played efficient, often passing up shots to give it to the open man. Thaddeus Young also showed that he knows the flex, getting extra passes to get the ball moving after his usual screen takes.Sacramento Kings

It's great seeing Deron Williams and Brook Lopez somewhat returning to their form. The 3 years wasted on assortment of injuries has this team getting diminishing returns. Last night marks the best duo performance of Williams and Lopez combined. Deron has shredded that weight and his stamina plus the knees are healthy means he can run the flex; similar to what he was running during his time with Okur, Boozer, Kirilenko and Korver.
Lopez was also all over the place, having that extra hop for the hustle in getting second chance points and draining those medium range shots. I hope both performs well as the Nets are clinging to that eighth seed on which Miami and Boston are in hot pursuit.Sacramento Kings

Kind of old news but do-it all rookie and Chester, PA product Rondae Hollis-Jefferson out for 8-10 weeks with an ankle injury that required surgery.
Really a shame to see this happen. I was hoping he would get more and more minutes as the season went on and the Nets saw what they really have in him. Wishing him a speedy recovery.
