  • Jeon Tae-Pong and Leon Williams lead a balanced attack for the Goyang Orions in the 2nd quarter and 3rd quarter for the easy win against Samsung. Jeon used that stutter head fake to draw back his defenders.

    • Good to see Kim Hyo-Beom playing well as of late. He seems reinvigorated with KCC Egis. It could be a lost season but Kim alongside the return of Kang Byung-Hyun from military service next month gives KCC fans a bit of hope for next season.

Sometimes a change of scenery is all that is needed for apparent veterans who seem to be slowing down. I remember Kim being a potent scorer back in his younger years in Ulsan. Due to the reshuffling of SK Knights, Kim became the odd man out and found himself with KCC Egis.

      • Sakers lost to Ulsan 66-61 which is marginal compared to last meeting's blowout loss. Sakers playing better but not good enough as transition defense and weak-side defense has been a problem all season.

Meanwhile, Wonju Dongbu Promy stopped the Goyang Orions 80-75 thanks to the strong games of Lee Seung-Jun and Richard Roby. Wonju's offense closed out the game in a timely fashion during crunch-time.

        • Anyang KGC repulsed the Incheon ET Land Elephants 90-82 with Lee Jung-Hyun and Juan Patillo each scoring 20 points. Rookie Choi Hyun-Min scored 17 points.

Incheon's defense faltered in the third quarter and they looked old as they were, that allowed KGC to make the upset feasible.

            • Changwon LG Sakers 83 Samsung Thunder 92

Lee Si Jun exploded for a season high 20 points to lead Samsung over this upset win. Sakers faded in the final quarter while Samsung struck and mad a furious comeback to force the game in overtime. Samsung owned the extra period by once again out-scoring the Sakers 14-5. Darian Towns with a team high 24 points for Samsung.

              • Goyang Orions 74 Busan Sonicboom KT 62

Leon Williams was a monster in this one: 28 points and 15 rebounds to lead Goyang over Busan. Jasper Johnson lead Busan with 31 points and 10 rebounds, as Johnson was the only one who reached double figures for Busan. Choi Jin-Soo added 15 points to help Goyang.

                • Watched the replay of the Anyang KGC - Seoul SK Knights game. Anyang KGC mustered their championship form while SK was out of sync and Aaron Haynes tried to play hero. This was an emotional victory for KGC.

Lee Jung-Hyun starred once again as he lead the team with 17 points. Lee is becoming a "Go To Guy" for Anyang.

                  • In tonight's Goyang - Changwon game, Leon Williams and Choi Jin-Soo did their damage early in the first half while the Sakers got off to an extremely disappointing first half. Sakers could not recover in time as the Orions preserved a 78-74 win.

It was a bit of fun seeing Choi Jin-Soo and Kim Yong-Hwan exchange baskets.

                      • After playing three lackluster quarters, Ulsan Mobis Phoebus managed a strong 4th quarter to put away a pesky Samsung Thunder squad. Ulsan won, 69-63.

                        • SK's rookie power forward Choi Bu-Kyong is steadily improving. Notched a double double of 14 points and 13 rebounds alongside 4 assists last night. Choi has been working with former KBL MVP and teammate Park Sang-Oh for every facet of his game.

                          • Silent creepers making their way up are Busan and Wonju Dongbu Prmy. Busan is slowly coming together with their mixture of veterans and youth. Cho Sung-Min is finding his range while the veterans are trusting the likes of Jang Jae-Suk inside the paint.

As for Wonju, the start of the season saw on how Kim Joo-Sung and Lee Seung-Jun adjusted in playing with each other. Both are willing to share the ball but it was on the defensive end where they struggled. Traditionally, Wonju plays a 1-4 floor denial zone but the arrival of Lee Seung-Jun moved Kim JS into the center and Lee SJ into a power forward. Kim JS is a much better perimeter defender compared to Lee SJ, who is more of an inside man to man defender. A 2-3 zone is more effective with both Kim JS and Lee SJ in tow.

                              • Wonju Dongbu Promy with another good win, and this time against Anyang KGC; their KBL 2012 Finals opponents. Wonju got retribution by winning 80-70. Front-court production did the trick.
