    • Samsung Thunder upsets the league leaders, Seoul SK Knights 74-71 behind the strong games of Darian Towns and Lee Dong-Jun. SK had their worst first quarter to date, as they managed only 11 points. That allowed Samsung to get comfortable with their rhythm as SK could not defend any better than their first quarter.

Eventually, SK woke up in the following quarters with their offense clicking, but as far as the saying goes that defense wins games, Samsung got a lot of easy points and thwarted an SK comeback each time.

          • In a re-match of the 2012 KBL Finals, Anyang KGC won over Wonju Dongbu Promy. The game was tight all the way to the end of the 3rd quarter, but Wonju fizzled in the 4th and scored only 10 points. It allowed KGC to preserve for the win.

KGC played a good overall team game in which guard Lee Jung-Hyun lead the team with 20 points. Yang Hee-Jong scored 15 points and Juan Patillo with 18 points.

                • Statement win for the Seoul SK Knights as they beat Ulsan Mobis Phoebus, 64-58. SK wanted it more it seems in the 4th quarter while Ulsan needs to gel more as a team in crunch time.

Aaron Haynes got the better of former teammate, Moon Tae-Young in this game.

                  • Triple Header later this day:

Changwon LG Sakers vs. Incheon ET Land Elephants
Elephants are favored in this one, but the Sakers, standing at 11-11 will run and gun to be over .500 in wins.

                    Goyang Orions vs. Anyang KGC
I have been looking forward to this game for a week. Goyang's Jeon Tae-Pong vs. KGC's Kim Tae-Sol and Choi Jin-Soo vs. Yang Hee-Jong.

Wonju Dongbu Promy vs. Jeonju KCC Egis
A fourth win would be nice for KCC Egis.

Sakers upset the Elephants as LG got hot in the fourth quarter where they outscored Incheon 25-15.

                      Goyang Orions vs. Anyang KGC
I have been looking forward to this game for a week. Goyang's Jeon Tae-Pong vs. KGC's Kim Tae-Sol and Choi Jin-Soo vs. Yang Hee-Jong.
Orions went on a second and third quarter tear through balance scoring to get back in winning ways. Anyang's defense just faltered tonight.

Wonju Dongbu Promy vs. Jeonju KCC Egis
A fourth win would be nice for KCC Egis.
Wonju wins 77-71 thanks to Kim Joo-Sung's vintage performance of 27 points.

                      • Anyang KGC really misses Oh Sek-Eun and what he brings to the table: High percentage points, rebounds and hustle. KGC is a very different team without him. This KGC team with the talented Juan Patillo will need more muscle inside as Kim Il-Du and the gang are trying their best in group rebounding. Hopefully next year as early as February, Oh SK could return.

                          • To all the fans of KBL, what can you say about Herbert Hill? He's gonna play in the Philippines next year and I cannot find any highlights of him.

I remember a couple of double double games for Herbert Hill when he was still playing for the Incheon ET Land Elephants back in the 2010-11 KBL Season. Hill alongside local stars like Moon Tae-Jong and Seo Jang-Hoon were very productive and powered Incheon into the playoffs.

A very dependable guy for rebounds and is good in catching either high or low bounce passes during movement. Over the years, he has developed some finesse game like the mid-range jumper and a semi-hook.

                              • Changwon LG Sakers will ring in the new year by going one game above .500 where they beat the defending KBL champions, Anyang KGC 103-86. LG had an explosive fourth quarter wherein they exploded for 38 points as every shot were falling. Six Sakers were in double figures as KGC withered away in the fourth.

Meanwhile, Seoul SK Knights have distanced themselves from the rest as they won over the Daegu Orions 91-86. There were signs of trouble in the 2nd quarter as SK scored only 11 points, but the Knights regrouped in the second half lead by Kim Sun-Hyung (26 points) and Park Sang-Oh (25 points).
