The Phoenix Mercury are playing the Japanese Women's National Team without the Mercury's stars like Diana Taurasi still is playing in Europe. Penny Taylor (knee) is out for the season. Candice Dupree, who recently finished her season in Russia, and DeWanna Bonner (Spain) aren't expected to arrive in Phoenix until late Tuesday.

I like the signing of the Tulsa Shock. They brought in a veteran point guard in Temeka Johnson. It is a good signing as Johnson in her journey career is known as a vocal leader and that would preside with the Shock's young stars like Liz Cambage.
