The other candidates stats-wise would be
              Gortat (no playoffs)
Hibbert (clearly worse stats + Granger is already mentioned for the Pacers)
Monroe (far away from the playoffs)
              Cousins (same to Monroe)
Noah (possibly the sole alternative. He's averaging 10.1ppg+9.8rpg, while Gasol is averaging 14.5+9.0+3.2apg)

I don't see anyone better than him, sorry. Let alone Memphis' good season, without Randolph in most of its part

to me yes, and very good one. he is great on ofense and defense. memphis playing old schol basketball trough him, he is their key guy and on defense he is much better then hyped defender like deandre jordan
                Jordi Bertomeu sucks!

Plus Marc Gasol defines consistency with his overall play. Very smart as well. Memphis survived the long absence of Zach Randolph because of Gasol's inside presence. Next is Tyson Chandler.
