This is the Naismith Award Early Season Watch List showing the top-50 players in the Div.I with their stats as at Jan. 26.
Top scorer is Elena Delle Donne (who is back in the game after her health issues), top rebounder Chiney Ogwumike (she's averaging a fine double-double in scoring and rebounding) and top passer is Angel Goodrich, a senior from Kansas. Only Frosh in the list is Breanna Stewart, while just two Soph are ranked, Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis and Elizabeth Williams.

P.S: Chelsea Gray's rebounding figures are obviously wrong, her record is 5.8 rpg.

Jr PF Chiney Ogwumike reached her 20th double-double of the season leading yesterday Stanford over USC, with 26 pts + 15 reb.
She bettered the single season record reached last year by her older sister Nneka and her career record is now 50 (one less than Nneka) in just 3years.

Sr G/F Kristi Kingma, Washington, scored 35 pts with an amazing 11/17 3-pointers shooting in yesterday's win over Oregon. She set the new Pac-12 record for single game 3-pt scoring.

So PF Temi Fagbenle of Harvard, had 26 pts, 13 reb and 2 blocks with an impressive 11/14 scoring in a loosing effort vs Penn. Fagbenle, a 2011 HS super star, is playing her first season in the NCAA as she sat out her freshman year and has already played for Great Britain Sr NT at the 2012 Olympics.

Chelsea Gray (Duke), one of the most talented juniors in college ball, will miss the rest of the season due to a knee injury suffered last Sunday. Gray was averaging 13.1ppg, 5.6apg and 3.7spg and is a true inspiration for Duke play.

Player-of-the-year candidate Britt Griner moved past Maya Moore in career scoring to all-time 4th position with 3045 points.
She's already the first player ever having surpassed the 700 blocked shots mark.
