He will be playing with Lebanon in this tournament.

As per Sports-leb.com website, a list of 19 players names have been initially sent by the Lebanese federation to their Asian counterparts regarding the Lebanese roster for the Stankovic Cup.... The final 12 names will be decided at a later stage.

Here are the names of the 19 players (players in bold were the ones that represented Lebanon in the WABA Qualifiers)... Fadi El Khatib as stated in previous posts will not be joining the Lebanese NT for this tournament:

Looking at the list of players above i'm glad that coach Ghassan has decided to keep the same players from the WABA tournament as he is giving these new players a chance to continue gaining international experience and not just relying on the older names that were representing our NT in previous years.

However I wish coach Ghassan didn't concentrate on naming so many Champville players regarding the list of additional 10 names that have been called to the NT and instead call up a few young talented players from other teams as well.

Yeah Charles Tabet (205-PF/C-1988) is one of the top 3 big men (players above 6'8 or 203) in Lebanon right now along with Ali Kanaan (206-PF/C-1985) and Bassel Bawji (203-PF-1989). His stats have tremendously improved since he came to play in Lebanon and considering that he's 24 years old I believe he's more ready than ever to continue imposing himself as one of the best Lebanese players.

By the way Charles' twin brother, Philip, signed to play with a Lebanese team this year. They say he used to be better than Charles back in the NCAA but Philip got injured and has been away from basketball for a while so let's hope he can get back into form and show us that he's better than his twin brother

China is going with their B team... They should have Guo Ailun from their Olympics squad but other than that it's all players who are young and part of the B team.
