Melo Drama and Dwight o Rama in NBA? then PBA has NOLI Metangere
It's been known to the Basketball World what Carmelo Anthony had gone through when he made it clear that he wanted to be traded and specifically New York Knicks. Many teams were quite interested in him however it's his loyalty and contract extension that cant be guaranteed unless shipped to his desired team. Talks to different GM's were made but in the end Melo ended his Drama they way he wanted to. Anthony was traded to the Knicks along side Chauncey Billups for almost all the core players of the Knicks.
This Season the attention was focused on Dwight Howard as they called it Dwight o Rama or DWAMA. The big fella also claims that he wanted to be shipped out preferably Los Angeles, Dallas and New Jersey. However at the trading deadline Dwight might have feared that NBA Fans will consider him as a Villain like Lebron James when he jump shipped to Miami instead of re-singing with the Cavs. Dwight did not Opt out of his contract and decided to give it atleast 1 more season.
Filipino's are Basketball lovers. You can find basketball courts almost anywhere here in the Philippines, may it be on Side Street, Covered court or even at some Lighting Post. In relation to that everybody knows that NBA is the most famous BASKETBALL LEAGUE in the Entire World. That might be the reason why most of our Coaches copy NBA Team's system and plays as well.
Oh I almost forgot to Mention even the Drama! remember when referee's in the NBA suddenly became strict with the players specially when they dont agree with the call? Players now often got T'd up whenever they raised their voice or didnt agree with the calls from referees. Yes this was absorbed by our dearest PBA, they even made their own ruling for "FLOPPING VIOLATION" and referee's that time tend to call techincal fouls than ever.
Ok let's now go to the present. After the Melo Drama and DWAMA in the NBA here comes our OWN VERSION. YEAH! PBA's Version of it's Drama and I call it "NOLI" ME TANGERE. Its obvious that most fans are aware that MR Eala has been running the show for the 3 SMC franchise in the PBA. Since he took over moves were made, rosters were revamped. Now the Drama unfolds between BGK and BMEG.

Huge game by the Texters last night. They're definitely a class above everyone else when it comes to winning the games that count the most. Too bad for them they missed out on their grandslam prospects last season, missing out only by one game to win all the marbles. But this is a solid team and can be ranked up there already with the top teams in PBA history.
At present, here's how I rank the Top 20 teams in PBA history played on a per season basis:
1. Crispa Redmanizers 1983
2. Crispa Redmanizers 1976
3. San Miguel Beermen 1989
4. Alaska Aces 1996
5. Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters 2011
6. Toyota Comets 1975
7. Toyota Tamaraws 1978
8. Crispa Redmanizers 1977
9. Toyota Tamaraws 1982
10. Ginebra San Miguel Kings 2004-05
11. Sunkist Juicers 1995
12. Great Taste Coffeemakers 1985
13. Alaska Aces 1998
14. Great Taste Coffeemakers 1984
15. Tanduay Rhum Makers 1986
16. San Miguel Beermen 1988
17. San Miguel Beermen 1999
18. San Miguel Beermen 2000
19. Crispa Redmanizers 1980
20. Purefoods 2005-06
TnT's accomplishment in 2011 was more than enough to merit them the fifth slot. They were just a game away from winning the grandslam but lost out to Petron in Game 7 of the 3rd Conference. They would have been only the 4th team in PBA history to accomplish that feat.
Coincidentally, the Toyota Comets of 1975 also nearly achieved the same grandslam hattrick but was stopped on its heels by the Crispa Redmanizers in the 3rd Conference. They were ahead 2-0 and were just a win away to achieving the grandslam but lost the next three games against Crispa. I chose TnT over Toyota though because the Comets were reinforced by Byron "Snake" Jones in the All Filipino tournament of the 1975 season while Crispa played with an all local crew.

I guess, among the players of Bmeg who haven't had an experience playing in a PBA final series are Urbiztondo and ofcourse the rookie Mark Barroca...and I think they will be the X-factor for Bmeg to win this series, if they plays well, higher chances of the Llamados to win this championship versus a powerful TNT line-up!!! Bmeg in 6.Not only does God play dice, but sometimes he throws the dice where we can’t see them.

If James does not play the James Yap that we know (the man with the million moves all GAME long).. it will be a nightmare of a series for BMeg and NoliTo becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.
