Yi Jianlian Set to Return to the US
Chinese player Yi Jianlian looks likely to return to the NBA as the collective bargaining agreement is reached in the US.
Guangdong Tigers manager Liu Hongjiang has revealed the power forward will fly to the US for NBA pre-season training which begins on December 9th. He also revealed that the Chinese's most likely destination is the Golden State Warriors.
Yi was drafted in 2007 by the Milwaukee Bucks and switched to the New Jersey Nets a year later. He returned to the CBA in October 2011 after a 15-month stay with the Washington Wizards.
Yi averaged 16.7 points from three games this season in the CBA before picking up a leg injury on Sunday night.
