Well it's not everyday that you get to meet such an iconic singer/actress whose music has influenced the masses not only in China but worldwide... Maybe they were shocked to see her because they didn't know about her comeback tour after she has dissapeared from the scenes for more than 5 years

Ding Jinhui (sprained ankle) is questionable for the first game and Zhang Bo (strained shoulder) is likely to miss the three game exhibition game against Australia.

Game 1 of the YouYi Games

                        Australia 66 China 55

Neither team played their best as both were just starting to shed some rust. Guo Ailun was the top scorer for the Chinese with 15 points. Sun Yue with 10 points. Yi Li followed up with 7 points.

Head coach Bob Donewald utilized 11 players as Su Wei, Zhai Xiaochuan, Zhang Zhaoxu, Ding Jinhui and Zhang Bo did not suit up.

China faded in the waning fourth quarter.

Head coach Bob Donewald lectured Wang Zhelin on his poor performance for Game 1 of the YouYi games. Donewald and Wang sat down and watch the tape. Donewald stated to the press that Wang was not assertive and aggressive, unlike his previous Nike Hoop Summit stint.

Wangzhelin is too young. Handejun is better.

But the potential in Wang Zhelin is there. Better to expose him to a higher level of competition such as these senior outings for his development. While, Han Dejun it seems is in a good shape. Han has been learning closely with Wang Zhizhi on footwork and post moves.
