and especially sta.maria. solid 6'4 center who can slide at pf at times.can rebound, dunk with 2 hands, and can hit d midrange a few times. pumaren should revive his career.where is he now?he should at least be in the abl.

This rumored proposed trade, if ever, was actually designed to benefit Petron more than any of the other two teams. While they may be losing the best player in the list, they also dumped someone who simply couldn't mesh with his other teammates. The Boosters are realizing the folly of collecting so many superstar players and beginning to value the need for more role players to backstop their resident stars.

Global, of course, would be getting J-Wash and that would definitely shore up their forward position. If Junel Baculi can handle J-Wash's temperament, this would be favorable for Global. A lineup that has J-Wash, David, Miller and Al-Husseini is a potent, combustible mix but if mixed well together, can be intimidating offensively.

Ginebra finally drops Rob Labagala, someone who will never get to stay long in the league. I can't see him staying long in the PBA although he may be a good fit in the ABL. They would get Mandani who could be a perfect fit for Chua's run-and-gun style. I don't know which one is more accurate - Ginebra getting Global's 1st or 2nd round pick? I'm thinking it's 2nd round since Global doesn't have their first pick anymore, having dealt that to San Mig Coffee already.

Not sure how Manuel and Espiritu will pan out. Manuel obviously has better chances of surviving but will he get the floor burn that he's getting now with the Portmasters or will he be, in typical Petron fashion, languish in the bench?

Manuel plays SF-PF-- similar to Arwind. That said, he's easily going to be Santos' back-up so no worries on his PT with Petron. Espiritu is trade fodder.

Yea. Its up coach anzai (baculi) to mix things up. On paper, GP has good players from david, miller, RAH, now j-wash but on court? We'll see..

SMC teams are inspired probably on ROS, a team with bunch of role players. Two of smc teams were defeated by ROS In playoffs.

imo, espiritu might shift either to barako bull or return stint to air21
