Purvis, a 6-4 combo guard is advertised to share the prototypical comparisons to John Wall and Brandon Knight. Personally, I would have wanted Purvis with Louisville under head coach Rick Pitino.
Rodney Purvis (Class of 2012) stated that in no particular order that DUKE and North Carolina State are his top two considerations.

NCAA eyes restrictions on Summer Basketball

The NCAA is eyeing numerous revisions on recruitment rules such as:
                          • Lifting the ban on off-campus contacts between coaches and recruits during their junior year.
                          • Requiring athletes to meet minimum academic standards before they can visit a college campus as a recruit.
                          • Further restrictions on unofficial visits, with closer scrutiny of how such visits are paid for.

The listed above are some of the revisions that the NCAA are undertaking to help cull shady recruitment dealings during Summer Basketball Camps, Games and Tourneys that High School Players participate in with or without their touring teams.

NCAA Conference Commissioners also suggested scrapping the July Recruitment period. Changes are being eyed for 2012.
