      Purvis rescinds from Louisville

Incoming freshman point guard Rodney Purvis decommitted from the Louisville Cardinals after Louisville Assistant Coach Tim Fuller accepted a coaching position in Missouri.

Rumor has it that North Carolina State, Duke, Kentucky, Florida, Baylor and Missouri are all competing to recruit Purvis.

Purvis, a 6-4 combo guard is advertised to share the prototypical comparisons to John Wall and Brandon Knight. Personally, I would have wanted Purvis with Louisville under head coach Rick Pitino.

              Mitch McGary

Brewster Academy's center Mitch McGary has been rising in rank for the 2012 recruiting class. McGary is a fundamental 6'10 250lbs center that has a passion on setting up screens and has the dexterity to finish around the basket. A potent rebounder who uses upper and lower body strength to fight for rebounds.

McGary needs to improve his post game and the use of the right hand as McGary often scores while fronting the basket. McGary jumped from a unknown rank 92 to number 5 on the Rivals 150.

Shabazz Muhammad listed no. 1 for Class of 2012

247 Sports named Shabazz Muhammad as the no.1 player overall of class 2012.

Currently, Muhammad has received numerous offers from the nation's top colleges. Muhammad, though listed as a forward, I think can be groomed to eventually play the shooting guard spot.
