Drummond suffered a mild concussion and a broken nose during practice. Drummond is expected to play in the start of the regular season with a clear mask.

We finally get to see Drummond in action against Columbia. Jeremy Lamb has also grown on me.

UCONN's title defense is already underway with this season opener.

Not a good debut for Drummond. Zero points and got into foul trouble. From the look of things, Drummond is not used to coming off the bench. He is used to starting on any team to get warmed up.

Drummond will get better as the season progresses. His teammate, Jeremy Lamb was impressive with 30 points.

8 points (3-8), 5 rebounds and 3 blocks in 18 minutes against Wagner.

Drummond is still plagued with foul troubles.

I saw last two games of this wonderkid. He is beast, but very raw. He almost broke backboard with his FT's but i defenetly get where amare comparison comes from, but personaly i would say young raw antonio mcdyess
                Jordi Bertomeu sucks!

I agree. Drummond is a work in progress and there are areas wherein improvement or refinement can still be maid. Most glaring is his free throw technique and post up game.

His upsides are his athleticism. In a short span, I admire the progress that Drummond has made in adjusting to the level of the competition.

Drummond had his first start with UCONN and played bad. 22 minutes due to foul troubles. Finished with 9 points, 5 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block.

Drummond must set his mentality and poise to a want-to dominate. He can be dominant if he wants to, given his athletic gifts.

The guy has great potential and i'm sure he will definitely keep getting better as the season progresses and as he gets used to the system implemented by the coach and team playing style.
