    2004 SEABA Juniors Team
    James Martinez
    Jayson Castro
    JR Taganas
    Rogemar Menor
    Dylan Ababou
    Michael Sy
    Michael Baldos
    Kevin Astorga
    Michael Baldos
    Martin Antonio
    Carlo Medina
    Alvin Calatayud

    Head Coach: Johnny Tam

This squad easily won the SEABA Juniors tournament held in Lucena City, Quezon. Unfortunately, star players like Menor, Taganas and Castro did not make it to the ABC Juniors due to conflict with the NCAA (This problem remains unsolved until this day). The only remnants of the SEABA champion team were Ababou, Sy, Bautista and Calatayud.

Thus, the BAP was forced to form a weaker team for the stronger tournament. The result was devastating as the nationals finished 13th out of 16 teams.

    2004 ABC Juniors Team
    Michael Sy
    Dylan Ababou
    Mark Canlas
    Jervy Cruz
    Darryl Bautista
    Alvin Calatayud
    Rodel Raneses
    Adrian Celada
    Ram Panganiban
    Joseph Claravall
    Diogenes Villame
    Harvey Aquino

I remeber this Darryl Bautista. He studied in UST, I think he graduated just last march. He never got into team A. He is just always an intrams star player.

This team finished a dismal fourth out of five teams in the SEABA Juniors tournament held at the MABA Gym in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Thus, it failed to qualify for the ABC Juniors tournament held in Kuwait later that year.

the players never gone far except for jonathan fernandez who had a stint in the pba, albeit unremarkable.
I'm back. Don't ask why. Just be glad.

Chris Dennis Madrid played for Adamson Falcons in the UAAP, Batangas Blades and Negros Slashers in the MBA. I saw a picture of him in a NU polo shirt so most likely he is already an assistant coach in NU.

Dennis Madrid also had a brief PBA stint with Purefoods in 2004-2005. These days, he is very active in the multi-sport scene (ie duathlon, triathlon). READ MORE.

                        Coach: Joe Lipa
I like it in those times when the best amateurs in the land gets their chance to play for the National team, Jerry Codinera was the senior of this lineup, having been a member of the NCC team under Jacobs, Lastimosa, Patrimonio, Capacio, Magsanoc and Dindo Pumaren, who were part of the 1986 Men's team in the Seoul Asiad were joined by five members of the Youth squad, Paras, Asaytono, Alvarez, Realubit and Guanio to formed the 1987 Men's basketball team.

Its obvious from the line-up, coach Joe Lipa choose two of his favorite UP boys, Guanio and Joey Mendoza wherein the PABL has two pure shooters, Elmer Cabahug and Ato Agustin, who were more deserving to be in the national team, perhaps maybe coach Lipa realizes you cant have all superstars in one team, (and it was Jojo Villapando chosen to replace Mendoza).

Cabahug and Agustin would get their chance to don the National colors under Coach Derick Pumaren the following year only in the Jones Cup tournament.

                              Jeff Moore is a high-leaping 6'3 Forward:

while Dennis Still is a wide-bodied 6'7 Center:
