  • Up next, we take on the Memphis Grizzlies, once again, at the FedEx Forum. Last time, we suffered a big loss to the Grizzlies, but I expect something different to happen as Keith Msart is now our (pretty successful thus far) head coach. Also, the Grizzlies have a few injuries and Zach Randloph is one of them while we only have Chuck Hayes missing. Memphis has been very good all year long though, and they're currently placed eighth in the West which certainly isn't bad. I just hate how we have to play on the road so much in the beginning of the year...

The Kings lost steam in the third and fourth quarter that allowed Memphis to close the game for good. There was signs od fatigue in the first quarter where the Grizzlies outscored the Kings 34-21. While it seems that the Kings are on another comeback game in the second quarter as they outscored the Grizzlies 39-34.

Jimmer Fredette lead the team with 20 points and 6 assists off the bench. Donte Greene scored a season high 19 points.

Demarcus Cousins had a double double of 19 points and 11 rebounds.

      • Dissapointed with the loss to Memphis after we gained some nice momentum with two straight victories aganst two very good teams. I thought we could have and should've at least competed in this game. We next get a shot at revenge with a home game against Memphis (to avoid possible confusion, it is not our next game but the series' next game ). Up next on the schedule, away to Portland again. Seems like we face the same teams in the same venues...

              • Jimmer Fredette has made progress. He seems to be starting to gel with the team and is adapting with the NBA professional game. His shooting touch as well as his confidence is emerging.

A big part of our future.

                • I am pleased with Isaiah Thomas Jr. for the team. Thomas is the only true point guard in the Kings' guard fold. Last night, Thomas scored 11 points and dished out 8 assists.

Being the 60th pick overall in last year's draft, he is quite a steal for the Kings.

                  • I agree, Thomas seems to have been underrated coming into the NBA. His playmaking abilites are superb and Thomas has great court vision. I also think Jimmer has been a great addition to the team, another true point. His passing didn't get a lot hype coming into the draft, but he is definitely showing off that attribute in the NBA, so far. Great draft picks, as usual, from Geoff Petrie.
