  • Nice to see him motivated and balling again. Still have work to do on pnr defense. However him being not the most athletic and lightfooted guy he Depends on his guards alot.... and DD and KL has been terrible this latetly containing pnr as well. So its a team issue.

Those jumpers are good lately why not take it a step further next season and try knocking down a 3pt Once in a while, even now some of his shots are just a foot or two away from 3pt line.. But in fairness nothing much has changed the same JV two previous seasons ago, and with the way he played in Olympics its harder to be excited about his performances lately whats the point if his career in NBA he'll be balling but for NT he'll suck.

JV was good in 2011, 2014, 2015. Hopefully will have quite few good tournaments in the future.

I liked him the most in 2014 WC he was beasting inside and his duet with Motiejunas helped him to on the floor, i suppose he was never under pressure back then we still had the Lavrinovic brothers now as years go by he's becoming more and more important to us since others are retiring and he's under pressure, there will not be any guidance anymore from somebody like Javtokas to him and he knows his defence will need to step up now with no Javtokas, its how he will cope with everything that will determine his good NT career. In NBA he will always play good.

Javtokas is not a national team material anymore, even if he wanted (he retired). There's plenty of players who are better than Javtokas. It's Kavaliauskas, Gudaitis, tweeners Motiejunas and Sabonis. Probably Mockevicius is better as well.

Please ,do not reply to that guy ,who we all know is the one we do not dare mention the name .
And let that be a lesson to you all. Nobody beats Zalgiris 17 times in a row.

              • Playoffs coming? 25pts (9/13), 13 rebounds, 2 assists in 34 minutes. Loved some of his passes, not all of them converted to assists. Generally Jonas has been playing well for couple of months now. Energy and motor is there again.

and there is no question in my mind that he would be able to maintain that offensive productivity if used properly by a smart team and a coach...especially now that he no longer hesitates to shoot from the distance and even from 3. Too bad the guy is stuck in a useless organisation and surrounded by offensive blackholes who are all trying to justify their hefty contracts by hogging the ball. JV trade can't come soon enough if a guy still wants to salvage his career...
