somehow anti climactic. snatch that 9th place.

it is the weirdest thing in Asian basketball. but China and the Philippines will be battling for 9th place.

of course hahahahahahaha. and in addition Coach Palma of Jordan mentioned that the Group A groupings is a joke.

i am not making any excuses for our lost, but coach palma has a good point.

This game was played 0900H Japan time or roughly 12 hours after our gruelling game against Jordan last night.

FIBA-Asia organizers should be ashamed of themselves for letting this happen. First, there was that silly system of drawing brackets w/c led to a so-called Group of Death, and now this unbelievable scheduling of games.

Glad that we outlasted Syria. Glad also that the BraSyrians did not play.

                      Are you still at it!

We had our chance to prove something but your Caguioa and your Chot
                      blew it all!

Better stop all your rumbling and start accepting the fact that RP5 choked
under pressure and Reyes collapsed under extreme nervousness.

It only shows this team motivation or non of it and Reyes poor motivation
                      skills.

From Jones Cup and Manila Invitational to Fiba-Asia, Where had all your
passing and your playing skills went?!

Even if we won the game against Jordan, We'll lose eventually.

Just keep on dreaming, sorry but the truth hurts!

9th place is good start for a team that has only trained for 5 months. Those teams who advanced had at least years of experience. Don't worry because this is just the beginning.

The point is that we can now improve our ranking. Does anyone know how much points we will recieve if we get the 9th or 10th place?

is this a to whom it may concerned post or are you pertaining to the starter of this thread? you sound bitter bro, that's for sure, blaming Caguioa and Coach Chot or any of them wouldn't reverse the unfortunate events.

anyways, let's be sport, and the games aint over, I hate it when RP NT only cares about championship etc. etc., hell yeah, they lost the quarterfinals ticket, and right now they still have games, why not redeem themselves and start winning.
It's ironic to see limited efforts from players with maximum salary.
I wish they would apply "sabermetrics" in those financially challenged PBA teams to acquire players who are value for their money.

These things happen ... However, losing doesn't mean that the players and coaches has not given their best ... I'm sure that these players and coaches are grieving even more than us since they are the ones who has given all the sacrifices ... it would be very unfair to just judge them like this ... tayo nga na mga miron lang ay feeling frustrated, eh yung mga players at coaches pa kaya ... For me, the RP Team has not let us down because they have gained international respect even with the failures ... Let us instead be proud of them for showing the world that the Philippines is back and will rise up stronger in character for future international competitions .

The truth hurts but we have to accept the truth and move on ... I'm sure none of us is denying it right now ...

Let's just continue to dream ... wala naman bayad yung mangarap ... at least we have something to strive for rather than just dwelling on our miseries .

                              Peace to all!
