My Predictions:

East:
Miami Heat 4 : 0 Milwaukee Bucks. Heat won't have any trouble with the Bucks (there may be a couple of close games, but if they can handle a 27-game streak, they can handle a four-game series).

New York Knicks 4 : 2 Boston Celtics. The Celtics haven't been doing that well this season. They can take a couple of close home games, but no Rondo, no chance of going past this round.

Indiana Pacers 4 : 3 Atlanta Hawks. This could really go either way. Both teams are similar in strength. I give it to Indiana because they can play some good D and upset some good teams this season.

Brooklyn Nets 2 : 4 Chicago Bulls. The Bulls shouldn't have too big of a problem handling the Nets. The Nets' defense built around Lopez (who's not a good rebounder) is shaky, while the Bulls' defense (Boozer + Noah) is rock solid. However, the Bulls' offense looked questionable in the last several games, so the Nets could potentially take one or two games.

West:
Oklahoma City Thunder 4 : 1 Houston Rockets. Rockets may get away with one win if Harden/Asik/Parsons carry the team, but the rest of the games will belong to Thunder.

San Antonio Spurs 4 : 1 Los Angeles Lakers. With Kobe gone and team chemistry messed up, the Lakers don't have many chances to get to the next round. They may surprise the Spurs win one victory at home.

Denver Nuggets 4 : 2 Golden State Warriors. Both teams are adept at playing fast-paced offense, but the team with more stamina (the Nuggets) will win.

Los Angeles Clippers 4 : 2 Memphis Grizzlies. The Clippers have great offense going that The Grizzlies somewhat lack. Both teams are good on the defensive end.

10 years ago in the western conference 2003 semi-finals, the San Antonio Spurs derailed the bid of the Los Angeles Lakers for a four-peat. The last remaining member of that roster is Kobe Bryant, but he is not playing. I saw Kobe Bryant cry when the buzzer sounded and the Lakers were eliminated.

For the Spurs, Ginobili, Duncan and Parker are still around from that 2003 championship team.

I forgot about Nike Hoop Summit so watched NBA playoffs instead.

NYK-BOS
Though the score was close, game was ugly. Carmelo was cold in 2nd and 3rd quarter but shot lights out in the 4th. NYK is the better team, but looks unimpressive as a team, relying on one-on-five scoring from Carmelo and JR Smith. Boston has slightly more teamwork and could have won if not for running out of gas in the 4th, with turnovers after turnovers. KG and Terry looked significantly older than Jason Kidd. I think NYK would win the series due to more talent; Boston only has 8 players, as they only signed the 3 guys from CBA to pass towels.

DEN-GSW
Wow, what a game at the end. Wow. MILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLER
Thought game was going to be a high-scoring affair, but while the pace was fast, turned out to be a bricking affair. Still 4th quarter, GSW were down by a bunch and came so close. Curry sucked and should be playing better in future games. Will be an exciting series.

BKN-CHI
Won't watch the 2nd half. Bulls look terrible. Brookly to sweep the series. Lopez reminiscent of Yao Ming + Tim Duncan in their peaks, but Bulls really can't defend. You know your defense suck, when you have Reggie Evans repeatedly doing Olajuwon moves.

Los Angeles Clippers rolling over the Memphis Grizzlies 112-91. First three quarters saw playoff grind intensity but the 4th quarter saw the Clippers stretching the floor and it worked where Eric Bledsoe went on a tear.

Bench play lifted the Clippers as Matt Barnes and Jamal Crawford hit shots.

Indiana winning due to an overwhelming first five performance and outplayed Atlanta's five 107-90. Paul George went 3-15 but was 17-18 from the free-throw lane. George had a triple double of 23 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists.

Also, San Antonio winning game 1 against the LA Lakers 91-79. Lakers reduced to only 15 points in the first quarter.

Miami trampling the Bucks last night 110-87 as LeBron James took to heart what Jennings said about the HEAT folding in six. James shot 9-11 from the floor and finished with 27 points. Two assists shy of a triple double.

Meanwhile OKC Thunder was too much for the Houston Rockets with the Thunder ramped up their scoring in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarter enroute to a 120-91 win in game 1. James Harden had 20 points against his former team.

Bulls level the series 1-1 tonight with a 90-82 win as Joakim Noah and Kirk Hinrich returned to action. A double double for Noah as his defensive presence helped the Bulls' pack lane defense. Nets malfunctioned in their offense in the third; ironic at that where they scored 29 points in the 2nd quarter.

I was so wrong, should not have made a prediction after watching just a half... anyway, the Nets really didn't know how to execute on offense today. They still got more firepower to take the series though.

Indeed, if it were not for the misstep in the 3rd quarter, I believe that the game could have gone in their favor down the fourth. Ironic is that Nets were so much better when Williams was facilitating, but when Williams tried to take over the game in the third, it negated his teammates as Williams had a horrible shooting spree.

Bulls winning tonight 79-76 just as the Nets fell short of a comeback. In this game, Bulls used their signature packed baseline zone and it forced the nets to settle and shoot too many long 2's and 3's. Nets did better when they attacked in the fourth with close range shots through exploiting gaps in the high opposites. Deron Williams alone was 3-8 from beyond the arc. Wallace was 1-5.

With Joakim Noah hobbled, the Nets did have a single advantage inside with Brook Lopez, but Chicago let him work and would rather have the Nets dump the ball to him inside as opposed to Carlesimo's 1-4 corner motion.

Chicago leads series 2-1.

Also, Miami are now 3-0 over the Bucks and has a chance to sweep the series in game 4.

The Celtics live for another day as they beat New York 97-91. Paul Pierce, Jeff Green and Jason Terry needed good games for this one, but Celtics still trail 3-1.

Meanwhile, the HEAT swept the Milwaukee Bucks.

Lakers got swept in the series and their season ended with Dwight Howard getting ejected. It was a tumultuous season in all.

Meanwhile, Stephen Curry's torrid shooting was in display and a potential superstar is born.

Too late the hero as per Mark Jackson. ;)

Reporter: Magic Johnson said today a superstar has been born in regard to Stephen Curry.

Mark Jackson: They're just getting to the hospital. The baby had already been born

Last night, 4th quarter saw the Grizzlies front-court completely closing the game and the front-court of Gasol, Randolph and Prince out-muscled and out-hustle their Clippers counterpart. Grizzlies lead series 3-2 after going down 0-2.

While the Nuggets survived last night and thanks to some dirty physicality but they are still trailing 3-2 against the warriors.
