7 Ways to improve our Gaming Level

Hi Folks,

Im not a coach but still in my opinion the below 5 points are main keys to develop our basketball scene in Lebanon and i am looking forward to your comments.

1. Deleting the whole league, creating a Super league in which we create 6 - 8 Teams and give them away as franchises (Each person can buy a team for an amount of deposited money) and by that we assure that all teams have enough Fundings/financial stability and professional status to it's players

1. 1 Foreign player only is allowed per team, for both Local and International tournaments (YES ONLY 1) and this foreign player should not be above 28 y/o and should have played his last 2 seasons with a country ranked higher than Lebanon in World Ranking

1. Assuring that every team should have at least 5 home grown players during each season (Home Grown as in played and trained at the team's very own youth teams and basketball schools)

1. Re-arranging the Universities league & All Schools championship (All Schools, means every single school in Lebanon that has a simple basketball court! you will be amazed by public schools how much talents they got

1. Arranging a National League (Non professional Teams) in which all players who don't get their shot to the super league can get their chance in here. Plus, all professional teams can sign partnership contracts with a team from the national league for them to try a player for a year or even sign a roaster straight from their list!

1. Coming up with a fresh Federation who is up for the challenge and willing to work hard to do these "Must do" moves to freshen up our basketball

1. Hosting Annual friendlies similar to the EFES Cup in which we invite international teams from different continents to focus on different play styles! even if they will come with their reserves or so, what is important is the contact!

These are my points so far, if any of you has more please add them and i am looking forward to discuss these with u!

good thinking need to add the lebanese abroad and some training sessions for our coaches. We definitely must change our style of play.

An important question who will finance the national league teams?

The Super League will be technically Companies. with a capital and a whole management team.

The National League teams will be financed and distributed by Municipalities/sponsors/partnership agreements with Super League! for example! Municipality of Beirut can have 1 or 2 teams, Municipality of Tripoli can have 1 or 2 teams .... and the ministry of Sports then instead of spending money over the Super League teams. It will be supporting the National League Teams!

It's not only about being visionary dude, it's about busting your ass for 3 years studying a major related to Sports Management!

When the USA decided to turn down their leagues and start with the NBA! everyone had 1 question in mind! Will this really work? and look at it! 100+ thousand fan at an all star game!! I think this game answered their Questions.

check this video although it is football but look at the professionalism of europe and then compare it to lebanon

LOOK AT THIS TALENT!!!!!!!! look how kids have their own league own coaches own courts. They train hard since they were born. Teams protect such talents.

i think having more than 12 teams in the Super League (maybe 16 teams) is one of the solutions.....

Well , we all wish that to happen, but I don't think it will.

First of all, we need a lot of money dude.

We need a sponsor that can provide a lot money.

Wlek baddak 7adda yeshtre l fera2. Ne7na meshkletna enno l dawle ma btehtam berryada, otherwise WALLAH we would have a great league and a great NT>

Also , having 8 teams in our league is a disadvantage for us.

Great ideas but we needs people that care about basketball,and there is no body cares about sports in Lebanon.
Also man we should change our mentality in playing this game, our teams, our NT's should play as team ,as a group and guess this could not happen except we teach young players to play as group not having a star and all serve him.An idea to that i think is bringing a coaching staff from S.Korea(YES!!!!!!!!) Look at their NT how they play as group
